Say goodbye to Warts, Skin Tags & Benign Lesions

DermapenCryo™ is a safe, effective and advanced cryotherapy innovation that removes unsightly skin lesions in a matter of seconds. The device uses a very precise jet of highly compressed liquefied nitrous oxide (N2O) to destroy benign lesions, such as warts, skin tags, and age spots. The Cryo™ freezes the lesion’s inter-cellular fluid, forming ice crystals, which subsequently rupture the cell membrane, destroying the cell.

In practice, the DermapenCryo™ is able to penetrate up to 1mm per 5 seconds of application, making it an extremely versatile, effective machine treating anything from extremely superficial sun spots to lesions up to 5 mm in depth in just 10 seconds. Its efficient and thorough nature means patients require less treatments and therefore less money spent on repeat visits.

The high precision applicator tips allow for a very targeted treatment ensuring that only the lesion is being treated, and not the healthy tissue around it making for minimal patient discomfort and few side effects. This helps to greatly reduce the risk of post-treatment hypo-pigmentation, and makes the DermapenCryo™ safe for all areas of the face and body, even near the eyes. No matter the size of the lesion, the treatments are quick and effective, with patients rarely needing a repeat visit for a touch up.

Treatment Method:

First Freeze Cycle: The Clinician will hold the applicator as close as possible to the lesion and move it quickly towards and away from it. Depending on the lesion size and depth, the treatment could be between 1-30 seconds.

Thaw: After the freezing cycle, the tissue will be allowed to thaw for about 30 seconds.

Second Freeze Cycle: The second freeze cycle will freeze tissue faster than the first.

What is Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy (‘cold surgery’) is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions. It uses liquefied nitrous oxide to destroy tissue by freezing the inter-cellular fluid which forms ice shards and crystals that rupture the cell membrane, destroying the cell.
